Network/ Server Room

Please describe the download and upload speeds found. Judge if this is a good speed for their network and what their needs are.

Fill out any concerns found onsite followed by your suggestion. For example: Concern - the work space in the room was also noted as being constrained. Suggestion - It is recommended that the room be organized by removing items that don't need to be kept in that room allowing for more available space to work.

Server

DO NOT RUN. Please describe the number of updates pending and current status of how updates are performed, IE - manual, download but wait to install, install automatically, ect.

Alert backup manager if backups are not working properly

Alert backup manager if storage is any status other than online

Go ahead and install ScreenConnect, TeamViewer or Labtech depending on the needs. Labtech and ScreenConnect should be on every server regardless.

Ping two other computers that are on the network and document the ping rates

Fill out any concerns found onsite followed by your suggestion. For example: Concern - the current anti-virus is not registered or updated. Suggestion - the anti-virus needs to be registered and updated to prevent damaging malware and adware from entering the server. This is covered under MIT and will be taken care of immediately.

Choose at Least One (1) Random Computer

Choose at least (1) random computer to check. If you find fault in one, please check an additional to confirm it is not a wide spread issue.

if mapped drives are not mapping consistently, thank about creating a batch file to help with this. If you are unable to fix onsite, please bring to supervisors attention to resolve.
